The Brothers U12s went down to Teachers at Warrina Park on Saturday afternoon. The final score of 14-17 reflected the hard fought match in very humid conditions.

Brothers took an early lead with a try to rampaging centre Aiden Knowles and conversion to Aiden Fitzpatrick. The half time score 7-5 didn’t indicate our dominance. In the second half Teachers came out and scored two quick tries giving them the lead 17-7. Brothers never die attitude saw them storm back with a try to rugby rookie halfback Aiden Fitzpatrick after a barn storming run by Harry Coleman and a great conversion by Nelson Kennedy.

Time was against as we stormed home with a brilliant solo length of the field run from our fly half Riley Desailly, but unfortunately the whistle blew, giving Teachers the win.

A special mention to, Aiden Fitzpatrick, Riley Desailly and Aiden Knowles in the backs and Harry Coleman, Jett Bates and Sherriff Dury in the forwards.
