U17s TO GAIN SENIORS EXPERIENCE
With the school holidays bringing the junior competition to a temporary halt, our U17s have been invited to take part in training sessions with the senior squads over the competition break. This is an opportunity for players to get a feel for senior training intensity as well as getting comfortable with senior club players and coaches as they move closer to a transition into senior rugby in the coming years.
Younger age groups will have the opportunity to take part in the Rookies to Reds program run by the TDRU over the school holidays. Contact the TDRU if you children are interested in taking part in the holiday program.
In other juniors news there will be competition changes from the ARU which will allow girls to play in teams up to U14s age groups if there are no all-girls competitions for them to play in. We hope to be getting involved with a number of schools at teenage girls school rugby clinics over the coming months and will look to put together teams with coaches and managers for the winter Teenage Girls Competition for the U16 & U14 age groups. Contact the club to register your interest at brothersrugby.tsv@gmail.com
