U10 White don’t skip a beat
The first game back after school holidays can sometimes see players a bit rusty and taking time to settle in. Not for our boys & girls this week! Owen Myers opening the try tally in the first few minutes after some great work from the forwards keeping the ball moving forward.

There was good play across the park in the first half from the whole team with the ball getting through the hands and out wide on a few occasions. The Sand Crabs had a strong late rally to finish the half well but were still behind on the scoreboard.

The second half started in the same fashion with the kids crossing early and the standout in this half was rugby newcomer Callum Cavanagh making big runs and proving a big handful for the Sandcrabs. Callum added a strong try running through half the Sandcrabs team in the process late in the second half to finish the game with two tries a fantastic effort and he is a player to watch this year.

All in all another great game of rugby with the whole team chipping in and demonstrating good rugby skills and game awareness so early in the season. Great win for the team in the end 40 points to 10.
