Club celebrations will take place from June 29th 2018 over the entire weekend (Townsville Show Holiday on the Monday). Events are planned for each day as per the following details:

Meet & Greet – held at the Picnic Bay Surf Lifesaving Club on the Strand starting from 5.30pm. Dress is smart casual. Tickets are $35.00 per head and include finger food catered by Michel’s. Drinks will be sold by the Picnic Bay Surf Club on the night.

Home Game Day – Games that day will be held at Ignatius Park College, the traditional home of Brothers Rugby Union. Playing Teachers West in a replay of last year’s Grand Finals. Reserve Grade kick off at 1.40pm & A-Grade kick off at 3pm.

Gala Blue and White Ball – held at Ignatius Park College Hall, Cranbrook. This will be a black tie / formal event (club ties welcome) with guest speakers, a panel of peers from different eras and a live band, Block of Flats featuring John Carey demonstrating the all round abilities of Brothers players.
Tickets are $85.00 per head and include a two course meal (main course and dessert) and substantial canapes delivered whilst people are mingling before sitting down. Catering will be by Michel’s Restaurant, one of the most prominent and finest restaurants in Townsville. Tables are set to 12 guests each and the ticket facility will show who is sitting at each table if you are unable to arrange a group booking. Tables will be grouped in club eras.
Drinks on the night may be purchased at very reasonable and below public bar prices. A fine selection of wines will also be on offer, again at very reasonable prices. Thanks go to Ignatius Park College for their assistance.

Recovery Session – Brothers are sponsored by the Centenary Hotel in Townsville, and everyone is encouraged if able to attend a lunch and recovery session to support our sponsor. This will be pay as you go and is not included in the ticket price, but will be a good opportunity to fairwell old friends. There are even rumours the annual club bocce day will take place on the green lawns of the Centen for the brave few who wish to enter…
